About the role

Adjunct Instructors are responsible for teaching, developing curriculum/course material for courses, and offering student support through interaction. They contribute to student learning outcomes and success.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in various disciplines
• Develop and maintain curriculum/course material
• Engage in student support and interaction
• Perform special assignments as required
• Assist the agency or state government in emergencies

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate degree in profession or equivalent experience
• Employment experience in the occupation and industry
• Credential in good standing
• Maintain active and current license, certifications, and professional development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven technological proficiency, including Microsoft Office 365 applications
• Prior online teaching experience using a Learning Management System
• Pass a background check as a condition of employment
• Work effectively with a diverse student body, faculty, and staff

Qualifications

• Experience with online learning platforms and teaching experience preferred
• Experience teaching at a community college and/or in the medical industry
• Operation of a State Vehicle

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
