Adjunct Instructor- Veterinary Technology

About the role

Responsible for providing veterinary care to animals under the supervision of licensed veterinarians. Conduct diagnostic tests, administer medications, and assist in surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and emergency care to animals
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work and urinalysis
• Assist in surgical procedures under the guidance of a veterinarian
• Document patient care and treatment in medical records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology or related field
• Current certification from a recognized veterinary technology program
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital
• Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficient in using veterinary software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
