Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, interpret, and execute administrative procedures and practices
Create and maintain manuals regarding the College’s policies, procedures, rules, and standards
Analyze class and program needs of the College
Determine and recommend retention or deletion of courses
Develop and coordinate program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates
Maintain calendars to track schedules and adjust as required
Assist students and support program curriculum, program and course reviews, and articulation activities

Requirements

Master’s degree in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics, or a related physical science sub-field
OR Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics, or a related physical science sub-field

Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications
Ability to utilize Canvas Learning Management System and other instructional technologies
Ability to interact positively with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public
