Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices, including manuals regarding the College's policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
- Analyzes class and program needs of the College.
- Determines and recommends the retention or deletion of courses.
- Develops and coordinates program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates.
- Maintains calendar as necessary to track these schedules and adjusts as required.
- Assists students and program curriculum, program and course reviews, and articulation activities.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics, or related physical science sub-field.
- OR Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics, or related physical science sub-field.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
- Ability to utilize Canvas Learning Management System and other instructional technologies.
- Ability to interact positively with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Work Environment and Physical Demand

- Use of video display terminal.
- Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Communicate information orally and in writing.
