Adjunct, Fitness Center Floor Supervisor
The Fitness Center Floor Supervisor supervises the Fitness Center. This may include:
- Instructing and demonstrating safe and proper use of all equipment
- Teaching appropriate exercises and routines to individuals
- Making sure all activity in the Fitness Center is safe for all users
- Monitoring any medical situations of patrons as needed
- Providing various fitness assessments
- Supervising the Fitness Center Desk Monitors, ensuring their duties are done
- Offering excellent customer service to all patrons in a professional way
- Responding to emergencies as trained when necessary
About the role
The position is exempt and work schedule varies, including weekdays and occasional weekends. Hybrid schedules are not available.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and NCCA-Accredited Certification in Health/Fitness related field
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Able to lift 45lbs and perform physical tasks when needed
- Experience using Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Exercise Science or related field
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous fitness center/health club experience
