About the role

The School of Business at Lehman College seeks adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Business, Management, and Finance for the Fall 2026 semester and beyond. Courses may include Principles of Finance, Corporate Finance, Investments, Financial Markets, Principles of Management, Strategic Management, International Business, Business Law, Labor Relations, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses using an experiential, applied learning approach.
• Integrate real-world data, case-based instruction, and hands-on tools into the classroom to enhance student engagement and career readiness.
• Hold office hours.
• Participate in departmental meetings.
• Support student learning.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant field or equivalent for Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor positions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a master’s degree is preferred for Adjunct Lecturer positions.
• Demonstrated ability to teach successfully at the college level.

Pay

Adjunct faculty are compensated on a per course basis in accordance with the PSC CUNY collective bargaining agreement. Current rates range from $112.50 to $137.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
