Adjunct Faculty in Business

About the Role

Northwestern College's business department seeks a part-time faculty member to teach BUS 304: Investments, an undergraduate course covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of investments. The primary focus is on derivatives (particularly options) and asset pricing models.

The class begins Wednesday, August 26, 2026, and meets three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from either 7:45–8:45 a.m. or 2:10–3:10 p.m. (CST) throughout the fall semester. The course may be taught either in person or online.

Qualifications

• Master’s level education in the discipline (individuals with significant experience—over a decade—and a B.A. degree may be alternatively qualified).
• Commitment to undergraduate teaching and mentoring.
• Commitment to the Christian faith and to the integration of faith and learning in the classroom is required.
