Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach courses in marketing as needed.
- Create and deliver high-quality course content.
- Meet all designated course instruction guidelines and departmental assessment objectives.
- Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner.
- Respond to student inquiries within 1-2 business days.
- Submit midterm and final grades according to school policy.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in a related field with experience and specialized expertise directly related to the position.
- Demonstrated teaching experience or good oral presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D, D.B.A or other doctoral degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline or work experience directly related to the position is highly preferred.
- Previous experience teaching courses within an undergraduate or graduate-level business program is particularly welcome.
