Adjunct Faculty - Humanities and Social Science
Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time faculty positions in Humanities and Social Science. Positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed and may be located on the Middletown Campus, Fauquier Campus, or Luray-Page County Center. Applicants must reside in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, or DC.
About the Role
Adjunct faculty teach a variety of day, evening, and weekend classes, including distance learning courses on and off campus. This is a continuous posting; applicants will be contacted on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities
- Teach college-level courses, including distance learning, on and off campus during day, evening, and weekend hours.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the specific teaching discipline.
- For certain developmental or technical courses, a Bachelor’s degree, special certification, and/or work experience may be accepted.
Additional Considerations
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred.
- History of successful teaching or related experience.
- Ability to use instructional technology.
Pay
The credit hour pay range is $794.00–$1,375.50.

Schedule
Adjunct faculty teach a variety of day, evening, and weekend classes. Classes may be online, hybrid, or in-person at any of our sites, centers, or campuses.
