About the Role

This position will facilitate learning for the Electrical Construction program for courses located in Tulsa, OK. Courses are based on DC & AC circuit analysis, introduction to electrical trades, basic electrical wiring methods, and alternative energy.

Schedule

Variable schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights and two Saturdays (September 19 and October 17 - 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM).
Appointment length: 6 months or less.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Construction technologies from an accredited university or college, or certification from an industry-recognized technical training program. Other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree/certification requirements.
  • Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
  • Five years of evidenced Electrical Construction experience.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies.
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
  • Electrical Journeyman license.
  • Preference given to an individual that is authorized to teach OSHA-30 general industry.
