About the role

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences Meta Major offers Associate of Applied Science (AAS), Associate of Arts (AA), and Associate of Science (AS) programs in disciplines such as Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Human Services/Pre-Social Work, Addictions Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, History, and Education.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses aligned with the Meta Major curriculum.
• Develop and deliver engaging lectures and seminars.
• Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth.
• Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in a relevant field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse student body.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with students from various backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in discipline or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with a culturally diverse population.

Pay

The starting rate for new adjunct faculty is $956.00 per credit.

Schedule

Flexible hybrid schedules are available depending on the position.
