Adjunct Faculty - Department of Public Health, College for Community Health

Responsibilities

• Teach an undergraduate course entitled Drug Education in the Schools to future health and physical education teachers
• Prepare and deliver course content aligned with departmental and course learning goals and student outcomes
• Provide students with timely, appropriate, and specific feedback
• Collaborate with departmental faculty and staff as needed to ensure instructional quality
• Comply with university policies and procedures, including timely submission of grades and course syllabi

Qualifications

• Required: Master's or higher-level degree in a relevant field of study
• Required: At least five (5) years of experience working with or in a public school system
• Required: In-depth knowledge of substance abuse education and prevention
• Preferred: Higher education teaching experience

Salary Range: $2,225.00-$2,225.00 Per Credit
