The Department of Health & Exercise Science at Rowan University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions. The Department will accept applications throughout the year and consider submitted applications to staff courses when a teaching vacancy occurs.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must have previous experience teaching in the above areas or experience related areas. Previous teaching experience at the college level is preferred. An MA or MS degree in a closely related field is required for undergraduate courses. A PhD or other terminal degree is required for any MA/MS course. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and must not require sponsorship for employment visas.

Pay

The Department of Health & Exercise Science will provide a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year.

Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
