Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. The college is a living, breathing part of Westchester that goes beyond the influence of a typical college and affects the lives of all who enter its doors.
About the role
Duties and responsibilities include teaching courses in the following areas:
- PC Hardware
- Operating Systems
- Principles of Information Security
- Server Administration
- Network Security
- Computer Forensics
- Penetration Testing
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Master's degree and one year of practical experience are required.
- The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to engage students in active learning and integrate technology into the classroom.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Information Technology industry certifications
- Previous college-level teaching experience
Pay
$93.84 per hour. No benefits.
