Adjunct Faculty - Criminal Justice (Undergraduate)
Position Purpose
Aurora University seeks talented adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching and learning. Adjunct faculty are qualified part-time instructors offered teaching opportunities based on course demand and staffing.
Essential Job Functions
- We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach courses in criminal justice across the curriculum, which may include the following areas: AI in Justice Spaces, Conflict Resolution, Constitutional Law, Corrections Services, Criminal Evidence and Procedure, Criminal Investigation, Criminal Law, Criminology, Cyber Crime Investigations, Emergency Management, Forensic Science, Homeland Security, Intelligence Policy, International Crime, Juvenile Justice, Legal Writing, Organized Crime, Policing in America, Security Leadership, Strategic Planning and Ethics, Terrorism and Counterterrorism, Writing in Criminal Justice.
Essential Job Requirements
- A master's degree in a related field, or a law degree, is required.
- College-level teaching experience is strongly preferred.
Skills
The anticipated pay rate for this position is $1,100 per credit hour. This compensation is subject to change at the sole discretion of the university, based on institutional needs. The pay range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted amount the university reasonably expects to pay for this position. The final pay rate will not be below the lowest pay rate listed herein.
