About the role

Texas A&M University - Central Texas seeks adjunct faculty members to teach an undergraduate level class in criminal justice.

Responsibilities

  • Teaches an undergraduate level class in criminal justice as needed.
  • Writes syllabi for the courses to be taught using the approved format of the College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Mets with students enrolled in their classes when students need additional assistance with class material and assignments.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field and undergraduate teaching experience.
  • Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.

Qualifications

  • Show expertise in and commitment to undergraduate criminal justice education.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm for undergraduate teaching and employing innovative teaching methods.

Skills

  • Experience in teaching in criminal justice.
