Adjunct Faculty - Criminal Justice

Location: Killeen, Texas | Faculty position

About the Role

Primarily responsible for the teaching and learning process. Adjunct instructors are hired to teach on a temporary, part-time basis. Teaching courses for credit requires the same professional and scholarly preparation as full-time faculty in the discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate criminal-justice courses as assigned (100% of workload).
  • Develop syllabi using the College of Arts & Sciences approved format.
  • Hold office hours to assist students with course material and assignments.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.
  • Undergraduate teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in and commitment to undergraduate criminal-justice education.
  • Enthusiasm for innovative teaching methods.
