Job Summary
Teach Criminal Justice courses in an online format using the learning management system (LMS) D2L Brightspace.
Job Duties
- Instruction and Student Engagement
- Assessment and Grading
- Student Support and Communication
- Technology and Platform Management
- Adhere to Institutional policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in a qualifying field or master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the qualifying fields
- Qualifying fields: Criminal Justice, Criminology, Administration of Justice, Public Safety, Law Enforcement, Police Science, Police Administration
- To teach online, the candidate must have experience using D2L
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of Criminal Justice professional standards
- Good communication skills
- Ability to respond in timely manner to students
- Promptness in reporting and recordkeeping requirements
