Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
  • Teach non-credit, adult enrichment courses in Food and Beverage Categories.
  • Teach hands-on cooking instruction for various topics including international foods, baking, basic skills and techniques, wine, entertaining and more.
  • Teach once a week for three hours on a weekday evening or Saturday or Sunday morning for 1 - 4 weeks.
  • Teach in various delivery modes such as face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats.
  • Student evaluation and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum two years' experience teaching to adults and/or two years' culinary experience.
  • Serve Safe certification will need to be completed upon hiring at the college's expense.
  • Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
  • Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.
  • Positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.
