Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
- Teach non-credit, adult enrichment courses in Food and Beverage Categories.
- Teach hands-on cooking instruction for various topics including international foods, baking, basic skills and techniques, wine, entertaining and more.
- Teach once a week for three hours on a weekday evening or Saturday or Sunday morning for 1 - 4 weeks.
- Teach in various delivery modes such as face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats.
- Student evaluation and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years' experience teaching to adults and/or two years' culinary experience.
- Serve Safe certification will need to be completed upon hiring at the college's expense.
- Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
- Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.
- Positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.
