Adjunct English for Academic Purposes Instructor
Responsibilities
- 150 minutes of class meeting time per week with a maximum class size of 15 students
- Providing detailed and timely feedback on student writing assignments
- Conducting weekly office hours and periodically scheduling one-on-one feedback sessions with students
- Lesson planning in consultation with the EAP coordinator and Academic Writing syllabus
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in English language teaching
- The ideal candidate will have TESOL experience at the university level (graduate and/or undergraduate students)
- Preference for applicants with experience working with the Academic English register in high-proficiency learners
- A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field is required
