About the role
The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) seeks dynamic, motivated, and diverse candidates for part-time faculty positions in Dental Technology. This posting aims to create a pool of qualified applicants for future openings across LACCD's nine colleges.
Responsibilities
- Teach any of the Dental Technology classes offered.
- Create engaging and inclusive educational environments that support student learning.
- Collaborate, communicate, and work professionally with students, staff, faculty, and administrators.
- Engage with a diverse range of students, faculty, staff, and community members from various backgrounds.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment.
- Associate's degree and six years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment.
- A sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Qualifications
- Candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Candidates must provide a medical certificate indicating fitness to instruct or associate with students.
Skills
Successful candidates should demonstrate a commitment to teaching and mentoring a diverse student population.

Pay
$89.72 per standard hour, plus an office hour differential of $20.99 per hour for classroom assignments. Eligible for a doctoral differential.
