About the Role

The Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University is seeking Adjunct Assistant Instructors to teach graduate-level psychology courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate students in the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology.
• Develop and manage the class syllabus, ensuring it meets department and college standards.
• Plan and create lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments.
• Grade assigned papers, quizzes, and exams.
• Assess grades for students based on participation, performance in class, assignments, and examinations.
• Collaborate with colleagues on course curriculum.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in counseling or clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for contributing to graduate training.
• Active professional involvement in research, academia, and/or clinical service related to the courses they would teach.

Pay

$6,000 per course.
