Adjunct Assistant Professor - Computer Security
About the role
The Computer Security department occasionally hires adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Computer Security, including information security, computer forensics, cryptography, biometrics, physical security, and network security.
Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of undergraduate courses in Computer Security.
- Teach one or two sections of courses as needed.
- Be available to teach in the day, evening, or both.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a closely related field.
- Prior college-level teaching experience.
- Expertise or interest in digital forensics, cybersecurity, and/or network security.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Evidence of prior teaching experience and scholarly publications is preferred.
Skills

- Interest in participating in student-centered service activities.
- Desire to apply expertise in promoting civic engagement with the College's many community partners.
