The UNC Adams School of Dentistry, Restorative Sciences includes disciplines such as Operative, Prosthodontics, and Generalist. The Generalist discipline focuses on oral health and hygiene through preventive and restorative services.
The Adjunct Assistant Professor will provide instruction in pre-clinical courses and predoctoral clinics, as defined by the Department Chair in consultation with the Predoctoral and Graduate Program Directors.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction in pre-clinical courses and predoctoral clinics.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS/DMD) degree or equivalent.
- Eligible for a North Carolina dental license or instructor license.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in educating dental students in pre-clinical and/or clinical settings, or
- Minimum of five years of experience in private general practice, or
- Completion of an advanced dental education program.
