Adjunct Assistant Professor

About the role

The Department of Art History and Humanities at Johnson County Community College is seeking an Adjunct Assistant Professor, Art History, to teach one or more sections of ARTH 180 Ancient-Medieval Art History and/or one section of ARTH 182 Renaissance-Modern Art History starting Spring 2027.

Work schedule

Monday, Wednesday and Friday; hours per week vary.

Required qualifications

• Master’s degree in Art History
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications

• Specialization in the area being taught
• Experience teaching Art History
