About the role
Seeking a dedicated Adult Residential Support Professional to provide care and support in a residential addiction treatment facility.
Responsibilities
- Supporting, monitoring, and interacting with residents, serving as a positive role model
- Documenting behaviors and maintaining records
- Assisting with housekeeping, supplies, and medication administration
- Sharing updates with external partners while maintaining confidentiality
- Responding to emergencies and supporting residents in achieving treatment goals
- Leading educational activities, assisting with meals, transportation, and basic first aid
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; coursework toward a bachelor’s in social services preferred
- Previous experience in similar services preferred
- Strong reading, writing, math, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and maintain professional boundaries
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license preferred; must pass motor vehicle check
- Training in fire safety, first aid, medication, and safety procedures preferred and required after hire
- Effective communication skills and basic computer proficiency
- Physical ability to perform standing, bending, and outdoor activities
- Community-based work environment with moderate noise levels
- Travel may be required for day trips
