About the role
Provides care, support, and supervision to residents in addiction and restorative justice programs at a community-based residential facility.
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor residents
- Document behaviors
- Assist with housekeeping
- Distribute supplies
- Administer medications
- Respond to emergencies
- Promote treatment goals
- Lead group activities
- Support life skills development
- Transport residents
- Collect specimens
- Provide basic first aid
- Attend training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills
- Physical ability to perform duties
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Some travel required
Certifications
- DHS 83 training preferred; required after hire
- Must pass motor vehicle check
