Addiction Support - Part Time (3 Nights/Week + PTO)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Adult Residential Support Professional to provide care and support in a residential treatment facility focused on addiction recovery. The role involves supervising residents, documenting behaviors, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting treatment goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents and monitor their well-being
• Document behaviors and progress according to facility protocols
• Assist residents with daily living activities (e.g., hygiene, dressing, mobility)
• Support treatment goals by reinforcing therapeutic strategies
• Administer medications as prescribed and document administration
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols
• Facilitate educational group activities and therapeutic discussions
• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and cleanup
• Provide transportation for residents to appointments, outings, or community activities
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and outdoor activities
• Work independently and adapt to changing needs in community-based settings

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Preferred experience in residential care, behavioral health, or addiction support services
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Basic computer skills (e.g., documentation, email, scheduling)
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in outdoor environments
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Problem-solving and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and respond to resident needs
