About the role

You will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using Ada programming
• Work with container-based microservices architectures
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience with Ada programming
• Three or more years of experience in development and/or hands-on technical troubleshooting support of container-based microservices architectures
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or other related degree program from an accredited college/university
• Active or Final Secret security clearance
• US Citizenship

Qualifications (desired)

• Three or more years of experience as a Software Engineer specializing in DevSecOps
• Experience with one or more of the following: Angular, Docker/Podman, GitFlow, GitLab, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Jira, Node.js, Keycloak, Kubernetes, Linters, SonarQube, Trivy, ReactJS, and other JS-based frameworks
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development
• Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements

Location

This role is based in the Huntsville, AL area and is 100% onsite.
