  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in code reviews and contributing to shared engineering standards and best practices.
  • Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability across the frontend and backend through testing, monitoring, debugging, and optimization.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, cloud-native deployments, and observability, partnering with the broader engineering team to deliver reliable production releases.
  • Take ownership of features from development through deployment, communicate technical decisions clearly, and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement across the codebase.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience building production applications, with strong frontend experience using Next.js, React, or similar modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
  • Experience developing and integrating backend services and APIs, ideally using Python; Node.js experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, responsive UI development, component-based architecture, and frontend performance.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI model integrations in production applications.
  • Proficiency working with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL), and full-stack application architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, or other modern DevOps practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare, HIPAA-regulated environments, or distributed engineering teams is a plus.
