AD, Feline Preventative Care Pets Marketing
About the role
Develops and implements brand plans and tactics for US brands NexGard COMBO and PUREVAX to meet business objectives while contributing to the leadership of the marketing team and partnering globally to improve global brand strategies.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the development, implementation, and execution of strategic plans that optimize sales, market share, and revenue growth for the U.S. feline preventative care portfolio in the short and long term.
- Develop and execute product and portfolio strategies with internal, external, and global cross-functional teams.
- Find business opportunities by utilizing insights from market research, industry trends, competitive intelligence, and understanding the parameters for acceptable levels of risk and ROI.
- Foster financial accountability and awareness of economic factors across all levels of the organization and anticipate issues impacting resources to ensure the organization's financial viability.
- Provide direction and guidance to others regarding BI's marketing strategy and translate BI's goals into customer-specific initiatives while advancing the insight of others regarding key market drivers and business opportunities.
- Lead the preparation of plans for large marketing campaigns; identify tasks, resources, and time frames that meet brand objectives and customer needs.
- Foster a broad awareness of economic factors internal and external to develop robust sales and product supply forecasts and anticipate issues impacting funding and financial management.
- Maintain close liaison with the field force to gain customer insights and benchmark practices to advise others on how to best meet customers' current and future needs.
- Contribute to the leadership of the marketing team through both coaching and mentoring of other marketing team members and a holistic approach to the business, not just their brand area.
- Perform all company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g., EEO, FDA, OSHA) and company policies and procedures. Report violations immediately to management.
- Demonstrate high ethical and professional standards with all business contacts to maintain BIVI’s excellent reputation within the community.
- Successfully complete compliance modules assigned annually by the company and develop challenging yet compliant advertising messages while avoiding regulatory agency warning letters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required, plus seven to ten (7-10) years or more of previous product marketing, field sales, or relevant work experience. Five (5) of the mentioned years need to be in marketing.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Ability to travel.
- Previous experience leading a larger scale business project including development and implementation of plan and metrics and achievement of goals.
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Agility with a proven ability to evolve strategic and tactical elements based on research, data, and industry trends.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to develop stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated organization, planning, and project management skills along with solid decision-making and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, initiative, and creativity and proven track record for innovation.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor/lead other team members.

- Entrepreneurial drive with a proven track record of exceeding financial and other quantitative goals as well as qualitative goals.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
