About the Role

Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring patient and family-centered care. Promotes safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, addressing barriers and patient preferences. Educates patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Maintains alertness and safety in a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and communicate care plans
  • Assess and address diverse patient needs, including emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors
  • Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
  • Participate in professional development and ensure compliance with safety standards

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree
  • Active RN license
  • No prior experience required; less than 2 years of experience if holding a Bachelor's degree (preferred)
