Acute Internal Medicine Nurse - Night Shift

About the role

This position involves providing high-quality acute internal medicine nursing care, working closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to treat patients with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care activities in accordance with nursing standards.
• Promote patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the care team and patients/families.
• Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values.
• Maintain safety and alertness as this position is safety-sensitive.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree with RN licensure; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior experience required; 2+ years of experience is preferred.
• Licensure as an RN.

Schedule

• Full-time night shift, 12-hour shifts (7pm–7am).
