Acute Care Surgeon - Hartford Hospital

About the role

The Acute Care Surgery division at Hartford Hospital seeks a board-certified/board-eligible surgeon to join a high-volume, well-established, and expanding service.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care across trauma surgery, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery
• Practice at one of the highest-volume surgical hospitals in the Northeast within a rapidly growing academic and clinical environment
• Participate in national trauma initiatives including the ATOM course, Stop the Bleed campaign, and Hartford Consensus
• Collaborate with the Chest Wall Injury Society and engage in educational activities
• Engage in research and innovation through Hartford HealthCare’s Innovation Institute

Requirements

• Completion of a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship preferred
• Experience in trauma surgery, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery
• Licensure to practice medicine in Connecticut
