Acumatica WMS Specialist

About the role

The Senior Project Manager – IFS Cloud Contract or Permanent North America position requires a candidate who is based in the US or Canada. The role involves managing projects related to IFS Cloud solutions or permanent positions in North America.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert for IFS Warehouse Management (WMS), supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Configure and optimize warehouse workflows, BIN structures, inventory locations, and transaction processes.
• Lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory control initiatives to improve warehouse accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage a small warehouse support team while partnering with operations to identify and implement process improvements.
• Troubleshoot warehouse and inventory issues, train end users, and promote IFS WMS best practices.

Requirements

• Hands-on warehouse management experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong functional expertise with IFS ERP, specifically Warehouse Management (WMS).
• Experience with warehouse workflows, BIN configuration, cycle counting, physical inventory, and inventory control.
• Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up time, supported by strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Current or recent forklift certification is preferred, along with experience supporting warehouse optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management or warehouse management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
• Experience with IFS Cloud solutions or similar ERP systems.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of IFS Warehouse Management (WMS) and IFS ERP systems.
