About the role
The 2027 Summer Internship Program at American National Insurance Company is a 12-week experience designed to provide students with meaningful, real-world corporate experience. It blends hands-on project work with intentional learning, leadership exposure, business education, and relationship-building opportunities.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited institution
- Junior standing or higher (May 2027 graduates welcome)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Able to commit 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday
- Able to work onsite in the posted location of the role
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Bonus points for completed actuarial-focused courses, VEE credits, or passed actuarial exams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Access, Word)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
- Strong organization skills & attention to detail with high-level accuracy
- Able to meet deadlines and balance changing priorities

Pay
