Activity Facilitator - Weekend Shifts

About the role

Scouts SA Camps & Adventure Parks—comprising multi-award winning Woodhouse Adventure Park in the Adelaide Hills, Roonka River Adventure Park in the Riverland, and Camp Nyroca on the Eyre Peninsula—is a leader in experience-based group accommodation, school camps, outdoor learning, and youth and family activities. An Activity Facilitator works across the Adelaide Hills and Riverland sites, delivering a varied range of duties including operating the Tube Slide and Laser Skirmish, hosting curated birthday parties, leading group team-building sessions, and supporting guest services. Casual shifts are available primarily on weekends, and your specific duties will align with your skill set and availability.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise activities such as the Tube Slide and Laser Skirmish
• Facilitate curated birthday parties and group team-building sessions
• Support guest services across multiple sites
• Engage with clients of all ages in a fun, safe, and inclusive manner

Requirements

• Current First Aid Qualification HLTAID003 Provide First Aid, or willingness to obtain one
• Satisfactory Police and Working with Children Check in accordance with the Scouts SA Child Protection Policy

Qualifications

Desirable:

• Current and unrestricted Driver’s Licence
• RAN Certificate (Responding to Abuse and Neglect)
• Previous outdoor education or facilitation experience
• Kayaking qualifications
