Activities Director

About the role

You play a key role in patient satisfaction by planning, coordinating, and directing a wide variety of activities to enrich the lives of patients within the facility. You oversee and mentor other life enrichment staff. You are a member of the multi-disciplinary care planning team and document activity plans and participation in the patient record in accordance with company policy and the State and Federal regulations governing those services. You may also transport patients to scheduled events away from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct a wide variety of activities to enrich the lives of patients within the facility.

• Be a member of the multi-disciplinary care planning team.
• Document activity plans and participation in the patient record in accordance with company policy and the State and Federal regulations governing those services.
• Transport patients to scheduled events away from the facility.

Requirements

• Qualified Activity Director for the State of Indiana or previous experience in healthcare Activities.
• Previous supervisory experience (preferred).
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
• Professional in appearance and behavior.
• Able to work with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
• Able to pass physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
• Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training.
• Follow written and/or verbal instructions.

Benefits

Full Time, $18-$20/hr.
