About the role
Join our wonderful team as an Activities Director at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Oceanview.
Responsibilities
- Provide activities that promote physical, mental, and social well-being for residents.
- Work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to understand and meet individual needs.
- Plan and implement group activities, outings, and social events.
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall resident care.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Activities Director preferred.
- Active ADC (Activities Director Certification) or CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of community resources and services.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
