Activities Director

About the role

We're seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Activities Director to lead daily planned activities for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Implement the activities program.
• Create a recurring and exciting activities schedule.
• Lead one-on-one activities for bed-bound residents.
• Assist residents with participating in and engaging in craft activities.
• Complete necessary forms, reports, and progress notes accurately.
• Identify and address residents' spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs through routine interactions.

Requirements

• One of the following certifications is required: State-approved Activities Director, completed the 36-hour training course, Certified Recreation Therapist, or a Degree in exercise physiology.
• A warm and caring personality.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Experience working with the elderly population.
