Activities Director

About the role

The Carriages of Rivergate is seeking an Activities Director to lead and develop activities for our senior residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving older adults and creating engaging social and recreational activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the Resident holistic wellness program
• Plan, organize, and implement group and individual social and recreational activities
• Develop activity calendars and newsletters
• Train and motivate Care Partners to assist with Life Enrichment activities
• Supervise all Life Enrichment Partners and Volunteers
• Observe all work, safety, and administrative rules
• Adhere to all established policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with seniors and have sensitivity to their needs
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Reliable attendance and work schedules
• Organize and utilize time appropriately
• Minimal supervision required
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and/or overtime
• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly
• A high school diploma
• At least 1 year of experience

$42,000 / Annually
