Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Activities Aide to join our Activities Department. The successful candidate will assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing activities, events, and programs for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement activities, events, and programs that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure that activities meet their needs and preferences
- Cookordinate with other departments to ensure that activities are integrated with other services and programs
- Maintain accurate records and reports of activities, including attendance, resident feedback, and suggestions
- Participate in resident assessments to identify areas of interest and create individualized activity plans
- Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement activity programs that promote resident engagement, independence, and well-being
Requirements
- 0 years of experience in a healthcare or senior living setting (training provided)
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
