Active Law Enforcement Officers (Contract)
About the role
Origin Investigations & Intelligence is seeking experienced law enforcement officers to support high-priority field investigations and federal-impact operations across the country.
Responsibilities
- Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Freedom of Information Act
- Conduct field investigations, surveillance, subject locates, and wellness checks
- Support federal-impact investigative assignments, including DHS-related initiatives
- Interview witnesses, subjects, and involved parties while gathering detailed statements
- Collect, verify, and document evidence and investigative findings
- Develop investigative leads through observation, research, and fieldwork
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed case documentation
- Collaborate with investigative teams while working independently in the field
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professional standards at all times
Requirements
Active law enforcement officer (required)
Experience in patrol, investigations, detective bureau, or specialized units
Excellent interviewing, communication, and report-writing skills
Strong observational and analytical abilities
Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion in sensitive situations
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally and regionally
Preferred: Experience in Criminal Investigations, Federal Task Forces, Intelligence or Surveillance Operations, Specialized Investigations Units, Tactical or Narcotics Units, Military Police or Reserve Law Enforcement, Private Investigation
