Activations Ambassador

Responsibilities

• Assure the pool area is clean and furniture is properly setup at all times.
• Support for Coconut Club during breakfast and other special events.
• Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, including successfully resolving guest requests, throughout their stay, while maximizing revenue and occupancy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, 2 years retail/hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be proficient with computers and POS systems.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required including weekends and evenings.
• Middle work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Very active and requires standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for entire shift.
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Able to effectively listen to guests' needs, wants, and concerns.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
• Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient retail operations.
• Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions.
• Able to handle problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
• Detail-oriented, able to manage high volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy.
• Able to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
• Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
