Acquisitions Intern
About the role
This paid internship is anticipated to last one year (12 months). This is a part-time (28 hours per week) hourly, non-exempt position.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to full-time acquisition staff
- Process materials received from donors
- Cookordinate and track donations as they move through the acquisition process
- Quality-check and provide feedback on oral histories
- Aid acquisition staff in training and managing missionaries and volunteers
- Provide basic technical support for missionaries and volunteers
Qualifications
- Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation.
- Must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree (or senior looking to graduate within 6 months) with a background in history, international studies, anthropology, religious studies, humanities, or a related field.
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Strong collaborative skills and effective communication
- Cultural humility
- High degree of organizational skills, including scheduling and managing multiple projects
- High proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Experience with primary source research
