About the role

This is an exciting and unique opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in history or library/archival science. We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and organized individual to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to full-time acquisition staff
  • Process materials received from donors
  • Cookordinate and track donations as they move through the acquisition process
  • Quality-check and provide feedback on oral histories
  • Aid acquisition staff in training and managing missionaries and volunteers
  • Provide basic technical support for missionaries and volunteers

Qualifications

  • Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation.
  • They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree (or senior looking to graduate within 6 months) with a background in history, international studies, anthropology, religious studies, humanities, or a related field.
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Strong collaborative skills and effective communication
  • Cultural humility
  • High degree of organizational skills, including scheduling and managing multiple projects
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Experience with primary source research
