Acquisitions Analyst

About the role

This position supports the medical acquisitions team through targeted owner outreach, market intelligence, data analytics, and strategic marketing initiatives. Based in the Los Angeles, CA office with occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain prospecting database and target property lists in SoCal, NorCal, Pacific Northwest, Mountain States, and the Southwest.
• Conduct cold outreach and follow up to property owners via cold calling, email, direct mail, and other communication channels to identify potential acquisition opportunities.
• Perform market research to identify opportunities, market trends, and market activity using Company software such as Costar and ReVista.
• Maintain Company CRM and comp database for both sale comps and lease comps.
• Support marketing campaigns including mass email blasts, physical mailers, and other marketing efforts.
• Assist with miscellaneous business development, corporate finance, and marketing tasks to increase deal flow and operational efficiency.
• Participate in strategy sessions and underwriting sessions with financial analysts.
• Attend select property tours of prospective acquisition opportunities.
• Review due diligence materials, including leases, operation expenses, and capital budgets.
• Assist with medical development projects, including site or building searches, when requested by Company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a quantitative focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in real estate, finance, capital markets, or investing.
• Self-starter with the ability to be detail-oriented.
• Advanced knowledge of computer systems including Excel, PowerPoint, AI software (CoPilot, Chat GPT, Claude), and Word.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments, and simultaneously manage multiple tasks.

Pay

$70,000 - $80,000 / year

Eligible for discretionary performance bonus.
