Acquisitions AnalystBerger Investments is hiring an Acquisitions Analyst. This role will support Senior Acquisitions Associate and broader investments team in executing the firm’s multifamily acquisition and development. This is a role that contributes directly to the firm’s long-term vision for portfolio growth and value creation. Information such as rent comps, expense assumptions, financing structures, closing costs, and return metrics will be incorporated into underwriting with dynamic inputs.Assist in evaluating development opportunities, including site selection, construction budgets, development yields, and project feasibility analysis.Create and interpret comparable property studies through both in-person property tours and online research.Assist in market and asset-level research studies to evaluate the feasibility of new investment opportunities. Areas of interest will include rent growth trends, supply/demand dynamics, and demographics to assess investment viability and support underwriting assumptions.Develop and communicate investment recommendations supported by financial analysis, market research, and qualitative observations.Assist in preparing investment committee materials and participate in internal discussions regarding investment opportunities, risks, and capital allocation decisions.Assist in transaction due diligence along with Senior Acquisitions Associate, other Berger team members, and external relationships such as legal counsel. Transaction-related diligence tasks will include managing due diligence checklists, summarizing large volumes of data, and flagging key deal risks.Create high-quality investment and financing presentations for internal and external stakeholders, with meticulous attention to detail.
