Responsibilities
- Provides expert advice to Government Program Managers and Senior Space Force leadership regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and program execution.
- Offers strategic approaches for developing documentation required to support Defense Acquisition Boards.
- Demonstrated experience with Air Force contracting and Air Force financial management.
- Serves as a strategic problem solver for the Government and refines acquisition strategies.
- Identifies program execution issues and provides accompanying solution recommendations.
- Drafts presentation materials, status briefings, and strategic communication inputs.
- Performs analyses of program business cases and risk assessments.
- Provides actionable recommendations to the Government Program Managers.
- Develops and collaborates on acquisition planning briefings and documents (AoA, ASP, ASD, J&A, etc.).
- Develops and collaborates on solicitation planning and execution documents (RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, Incentive Plans, etc.).
- Drafts technical evaluations and functions as advisors in Source Selections as requested by the Government.
Requirements
- Active TS clearance, SCI eligible.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related science field (e.g., systems engineering, software engineering, etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable job experience for mid-level positions.
- Minimum of 10 years of applicable job experience for Senior positions.
- Knowledgeable in the fields of Air Force contracting, schedule management of DoD contracts, and Air Force financial management.
- Able to organize and conduct ACAT-like technical design reviews and audits.
- Experience developing, updating, and coordinating ACAT-like program documentation.
- Amenable to being nominated for access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in related science field (e.g., systems engineering, software engineering, etc.)
- Previously served as an evaluator/advisor on at least one Source Selection.
- Experience with generative AI tools.
- Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
- SAP eligible.
Skills
- Knowledgeable in the fields of Air Force contracting, schedule management of DoD contracts, and Air Force financial management.

Benefits
- Basic Compensation: $110,000 – $217,000 annually (CA area)
- $100,000 - $198,000 annually (CO area)
- Additional Compensation: Bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation may be offered based on internal policy or contractual designation.
- Sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance may also be available.
Pay
- Scheduled Weekly Hours: $110,000 – $217,000 annually (This range is for the CA area only)
- $100,000 - $198,000 annually (This range is for the CO area only)
Schedule
- Contingent position based upon contract award.
