Acquisition Specialist with active TS/SCI clearance (Pipeline)
Primary job duties and responsibilities
- Lead the Government client in conducting strategic requirements review, acquisition strategy development, Request for Proposal development, and in performing other related procurement tasks as required.
- Review requirements documents submitted by the Program Office to determine adequacy and sufficiency and make recommendations.
- Prepare solicitations, acquisition plans, source selection plans, and other documents required in accordance with regulatory and local guidance. Documents shall be accurate, current, and maintained up to date.
- Develop and prepare requirements documents (e.g., PWS, technical evaluation factors, performance plans, etc.).
- Prepare modifications for various contractual actions to include, but not limited to, contracts, purchase/delivery/Orders, blanket purchase agreements, indefinite delivery contracts, as necessary.
- Respond to Freedom of Information Requests and Protest actions.
- Advise and assist the Government in the full life cycle of acquisitions and serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all acquisition matters.

Qualifications
- Minimum clearance at TS/SCI level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related major
- Proficiency in the use of standard office software and applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
- 8+ years of federal contracting experience, preferably at the DoD
- DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) or FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) level III certified
- Extensive experience on complex, large efforts ($100M+)
